Terms & Conditions - The Yeh Yoga Co 2024

  1. Interpretation

1.1 “Company” refers to The Yeh Yoga Co.

1.2 “Customer” refers to THE CLIENT, their staff both permanent and temporary, their tenants and external contractors.

1.3 “Teacher” refers to the person or persons responsible for overseeing and teaching any classes or wellbeing sessions booked by the client. 

1.4 “Class” or “Classes” refer to The Company’s corporate wellbeing classes, including Yoga, pilates, meditation, sound baths and any other wellbeing activities as agreed with the client.

2. Booking & Payment terms

2.1 Payment required ahead of the first session.

2.2 Prices are agreed prior to the first session
This is a flat-rate pricing structure for attendees (including sessions that may have ‘no shows’)
2.3 The Yeh Yoga Co reserves the right to occasionally revise their pricing policy. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to The Customer with two month’s notice before the pricing change comes into effect.

3. Cancellations (Customer)

3.1  Cancellation & Rebooking Policy: 

7 days + prior - no charge

3 - 7 days prior - 50% charge

24 - 72 hours prior - 75% charge

0 - 24 hours prior - 100% charge

Classes operate a seven day cancellation and rebooking policy. Where cancellations or the need to reschedule a class are made in sufficient time, no additional charges will be made.

3.2 The Company cannot be held responsible for the allocated teacher becoming unavailable. If a teacher becomes unavailable we will ensure that they are replaced by another teacher. If a session needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a credit note for the full amount of that session back to the Client. The Company will always explore all possibilities to ensure booked sessions go ahead, and cancellation is the absolute last resort. The Company will not be liable for any other incurred costs or damages to the customers from a cancellation.

3.3 Long-Term Clients (weekly/fortnightly bookings ongoing): 

Termination of bookings and contract - Should either The Company or The Client want to terminate the agreement, two month’s notice will be given in writing as to the intention to cancel the remaining classes. All classes booked in that time will still go ahead, and services and payment for classes within that time, to be provided by both parties. 

4. Class Info & Locations

4.1 Virtual sessions - Customers are asked to log in on Zoom at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the Class in order to ask any questions or discuss any injuries. The teacher will be online 15 minutes ahead of start time. 

On-site sessions - Customers are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the Class in order to ask any questions or discuss any injuries. Teachers will be on-site at least 15-20 mins ahead of start time. 

The location must be agreed between the Company and the Customer three days prior to the first class and it is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure the location is safe and suitable for a wellbeing class.

4.2  If the Customer has any questions over safety, layout, sound or anything else, they agree to ask these questions within a reasonable time frame ahead of the class, to ensure the Company can have proper time to help and advise if applicable. 

4.3 Any risk assessment that is required by the Customer’s internal team, for sessions on Customer property or locations as organised by the Customer, will be the responsibility of, and completed by the Customer.

4.4 Any risk assessment required by an external venue or party, in a location organised by the Company, will be the responsibility of, and completed by the Company. 

4.5 For sessions being completed at home (via online) each individual member/staff of the Customer agrees and understands that their safety at home, and undertaking a necessary risk assessment of their space, is the individual’s responsibility only. All individuals associated with the Customer, waive any and all rights in holding The Yeh Yoga Co responsible for any injury or damage they do unto themselves, or their surroundings, whilst practising online. 

5. Client/Customer and Teacher protocol

5.1 The Yeh Yoga Co guarantees that all of its Teachers have the necessary qualifications and insurance documents required to deliver the session to a standard of highest quality. 

Corporate and private bookings are an arrangement between the Company and the Customer. All class bookings, cancellations and arrangements are to be made between the Company and the Customer (with the teacher keeping informed throughout). Booking or attempting to book a Yeh Yoga Co teacher independently and not through the Company will result in an immediate termination of the teacher’s contract and other bookings with the Company.

5.2 Following the termination of a corporate or private contract, the former Yeh Yoga Co teacher is not permitted to teach the Customer for 6 months after the date of the final class. If the former teacher continues to teach the Customer within the 6 month period after the final class, the Customer will be obligated to reimburse the Company for the full amount paid to the teacher for these classes. 

5.3 The Customer is not permitted to try and book directly with the Teacher matched with them.

6. Fitness and Health

6.1 The Company advises Customers not to take part in one of the Classes without first seeking medical advice if they have any concerns at all over their physical condition.

6.2 Customers with low or high blood pressure or cardiovascular irregularities should not attend the Class without express and written permission from a medical professional.

6.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse access to any Customer if it in any way doubts the health of the Customer and their ability to safely take part in the Classes.

6.4 The Customer ensures that all of its staff and contractors understand and accept the risk of injury from performing exercises in the Classes. The Company accepts no liability for injury to the Customer and any members of the Customer’s staff, team or external visitors or contractors. 

6.5 Women who are 14+ weeks pregnant are welcome to join the class, on the basis that they have some prior Yoga experience. Pregnant women less than 14 weeks pregnant and with no prior Yoga experience are not recommended to join the class. Pregnant women are asked to complete a prenatal pregnancy Yoga prior to practising. All pregnant women understand that participation is at their own risk to themselves and the baby and confirm that they have discussed their participation with their doctor and been cleared by their medical professional to join the class.

7. Dress and Suitability

7.1 The Company requests all Customers to dress appropriately for Yoga, Fitness and Pilates classes. If any advice is needed, please don’t hesitate to ask The Yeh Yoga Co.

7.2 The Customer will need to provide their own Yoga mats - if there are any questions surrounding this or advice is needed, the Customer will contact The Company who will be able to assist them. 

7.3 Some classes do not require any specialist equipment or attire, such as ‘Desk Yoga’ - The Company will always communicate with the Customer which sessions require any additional attire.
